The Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center’s Children Overcoming Violence Empowerment (COVE) program provides professional services to children who have witnessed or experienced domestic violence, including physical or sexual abuse. Specializing in helping the youngest victims, COVE offers an array of services ranging from 1:1 counseling to one-of-a-kind, therapeutic group programs.In addition, mothers of children in the program receive parenting support tailored to their unique situations. Last year, COVE provided more than 1,400 counseling sessions for children and their families. Specialized treatment was provided at no cost to those in need.
